One-off Workshops

I run a variety of beginner and intermediate workshops for adult learners from the Manchester Ceramics Collective studio in Old Trafford.

Wheel

  • An introduction to throwing for up to 3 people at the Manchester Ceramics Collective studio. Learn the principles of throwing pots on the wheel. Try your hand at learning a simple vase form. All pieces made will be fired and glazed to be picked up by arrangement. 2hrs.

  • £50 per person. Get in touch via the form to arrange your workshop.

Hand-building

  • Hand-building workshop for up to 5 people. Learn to use slabs or coils to create a unique hand built piece. All work made will be fired and glazed to be picked up by arrangement. 2hrs.

Firing

  • Full day raku and gas firing workshops coming soon.

Artist Facilitation

I have worked as an artist facilitator for organisations such as Venture Arts and the British Ceramics Biennial, developing and delivering residency programs, engagement spaces, and workshops. I also work one to one with individual artists to expand their practice and collaborate on creating works for exhibitions, nationally and internationally.

  • Consultation & Training

    I can provide technical consultation and guidance to help you realise your artistic ambitions in clay. I can also provide one to one training for any specific studio pottery techniques.

  • Co-creation

    I will work with you to deliver the ceramics component of a specified artistic project. Ideal for exhibitions, commissions, grant projects etc.

Commissions

I am available for commissions and custom designs for your home or place of business. I have extensive experience making high-quality, functional tableware for cafes and restaurants as well as unique sculptural and architectural pieces.

    Architectural and sculptural works such as sconces, plinths and wall pieces.

  • Tableware

    Functional wares such as plates, cups, jars and coasters.
